Get StartedDistrict 42 contains some of the most productive farmland in Maryland. We have a rich history in farming and it is a dedicated way of life which must be protected. Maryland agriculture contributes more than 8 billion a year to our economy. Maryland agriculture involves more than 15,400 farms across our state. I believe that parents have a right to be involved in the education of their children. I think our schools should focus on the fundamental aspects of a good education by focusing on math, science, language arts, and history. Our children need to be prepared to go to college or go into the workforce with a good, solid education. Our school systems must have accountability, measurable achievements, and a safe learning environment free from distractions. As a father of four, I believe Maryland needs more choice when it comes to education. Learn more
Recently, Maryland as well as our country have experienced the problems associated with illegal immigration. Both of these senseless murders were committed by people who should not have been in our country. I support allowing our local law enforcement offices to work with ICE and oppose all forms of sanctuary counties. Learn more
Maryland’s tax burdens are too high. I will be a consistent vote against new taxes and focus on reducing government spending. Maryland must learn to live within our means. This year, Gov. Moore and his Democrat super majorities raised our taxes by 1.6 billion. I believe Maryland families are entitled to keep more of their hard-earned money and you can count on me to vote against raising your taxes. Learn more
