Get StartedThe government should not be telling adult citizens who to love or how to live their lives. They should never be putting a politician’s political views ahead of the health and safety of an individual. Freedom of choice to control one’s own body is the most fundamental right in our country and should never be invaded by the state. Learn more
Small, locally owned businesses are the heartbeat of our communities. It’s not enough to just allow them to open, but our small businesses deserve to have ongoing support from the government. As the local economies emerge from the pandemic, the support for these businesses are being sunset, leaving them in the position of dealing with a changing customer base without the backing of the politicians that are supposed to be their representatives. Programs need to be put in place to help these entrepreneurs continue to learn and fine-tune their craft and survive small changes in the economy. Learn more
I promise to do everything in my power to reinvest in our teachers and support our students, not just to pass one standardized test, but throughout their education. It’s time the people of Indiana have a government that actually helps them live a healthy life, instead of bowing to the wants of major corporations. Learn more
Hoosiers deserve to have safe, affordable, and nurturing options for childcare. Families around the state are forced with near impossible decisions, needing childcare in order to work, and then needing to work even more in order to afford childcare. Parents who make the choice to stay home with their children should also receive the support from the state to make sure they have the resources needed to take care of small children. Instead of waiting until a student is behind in grade school, we – as a state – need to reach children at a much younger age. Learn more
When workers can work together, the benefits are shared throughout the community. A strong union can make a generational difference in someone’s life and I’m living proof. A proud Union member myself, both of my parents had their lives shaped and enhanced due to their parents working in active unions. Learn more
