Currently the Just Transition plan only addresses Coal workers, but leaves out the thousands of Oil and Gas workers including many who live right here in HD 35. A just transition must include the entire workforce in the Fossil Fuel industry including ITIN holders. Learn more
We must work to support local communities to implement the statewide recycling initiative as soon as possible. Colorado must also create a statewide composting initiative that supports all of our communities. The methane that is emitted through rotten trash is more potent and toxic than carbon dioxide.
