From 1980 to 1984 I served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. Too young for Vietnam and too old for Iraq, I consider myself fortunate. My generation was the first all-volunteer force in the post-Vietnam era. I will be a staunch defender of veterans’ issues both active and inactive.
