As it stands now, a grocery store is in the works for the South side. As we continue the work to ensure this happens, the City should be proactive with developers to repurpose large, empty parking lots into mixed-use facilities. Learn more
As work continues on the Woodman’s Sports & Convention Center (WSCC), a more proactive approach to redevelopment of the rest of the property should be taken. Future land use of the the property is zoned for “Planned Mixed-Use”, which allows for a mix of commercial, residential, office, and recreational spaces. Redevelopment would allow for an accessible and walkable neighborhood with housing, shops, a hotel, and green spaces, all while maintaining an economic hub. Learn more
