We spent twice as much with Inmates than our Children’s education- Where is our priority? A whopping $20K per inmate and less than $10k per child? Our Teachers and School employees are underpaid; Most have to work 2 to 3 jobs to make ends meet: Most teachers have to use their own money to buy supplies for their classroom. Awarding and giving them certificates or plaques to recognize their services is novel but if we truly value our Teacher's Worth then we need to also Value them through their checkbook as well. Let Children Live: I am not against anyone owning a gun or taking everyone's right to own a gun. That is our constitutional right as American citizens but we must be responsible. We are not only obligated to keep our family and ourselves SAFE but OTHERS as well especially our CHILDREN. School and Property tax collections have risen more than 20% since 2017. We need to find a different revenue stream to offset the governmental expenses we all incur because of the population growth, we rely so much on property taxes. We need to create a way to build more Sales tax revenues by promoting and expanding business ownership and building more communities and rooftops. The more businesses we open.
