In recent years progressive legislators have ignored our pleas to fix our criminal justice system and create laws and policies to hold criminals accountable. Too many New Mexicans have been affected by crime. We need tax policies that foster economic growth and utilize the tools in the toolbox. We must stop the over-regulation and red tape for business owners and new construction. To attract new businesses, we must fix the crime issue, address our failing education system, and create an economy where our children want to stay after graduating college. We have access to provider issues in this state. We must make it affordable for doctors to practice medicine in this state by lowering their medical malpractice insurance and increasing our reimbursement to providers for Medicaid services. Providers can’t afford to stay in practice here, because of these issues, we can’t recruit or retain doctors and most importantly can’t compete with our neighboring states. Learn more
