We’re in the early innings of a fight against a pandemic. This has cost lives and has a tremendous effect on our economy. We have to use sound data and continue to respond appropriately, adjusting as we learn more. Nobody should go bankrupt for getting sick. Having to hold fundraisers to pay people’s medical bills exposes a giant crack in our system.
