But what I’d like to see grow in our district is the small business owners who need a fighting chance to get started and sustain their business. I don’t care if you work at home or out of a leased building, I support tax breaks at the beginning of a small business to be able to get off the ground. This would better establish the business for long-term business in our area and attract those businesses on the fence to come. Learn more
Overall, Cherokee County has some of the best teachers in Georgia. And Cherokee County school systems have it going in the right direction. But HB109 could affect getting good , even great, teachers from coming to Georgia. Learn more
The 2nd Amendment was ratified in 1791 which basically says that we as Americans have the Right to Bear and Keep arms. I agree with that amendment to be able to protect ourselves and families. However, to get approved to carry a pistol needs to have extensive background checks. Getting caught selling Black Market guns should carry the maximum penalty in the law. Learn more
