Get StartedCommunity safety includes adequately funding our police, fire, and emergency medical services. It also encompasses creating safe well-lit spaces for public gatherings, implementing traffic calming measures, and building community engagement. Learn more
When city incentives are requested for expansion or development, the fiscal impacts and benefits to citizens should be weighed. The outcomes should be tracked to ensure follow through and the expected benefits were received. Learn more
A vibrant and healthy community must have clean air, a sufficient water supply, and ample green space including parks and trails . We must be mindful of how our built environment – our roads, buildings, and infrastructure – impacts our natural environment. This is a vitally-urgent conversation as the lands within the city limits are developed. Every development opportunity in our city must be viewed through the lens of its impact on our natural environment. If there is an unnecessary adverse impact on our environment that cannot be mitigated, it isn’t much of an opportunity. Learn more

I will focus on maintaining existing city roads and, where necessary, constructing new ones to facilitate the efficient movement of goods and people while ensuring safety for all road users. I strive to hold the state and county to these same high standards for the roads they own. Learn more
Serve people where they are. It’s essential that residents can access necessary services regardless of their location within the city, age, health, mindset, or their cultural affinity. As Hillsboro expands, establishing service points in every sector of the city and making those services accessible to every person regardless of identity, culture, age or health status will significantly improve lives.
