We can also accept some controls and procedures if that means we have less needless tragedies within our country. I believe this to be a commonsense issue that deserves care-driven discussion at every level. Understanding that we already have controls in place helps us open the discussion and determine what arms we should be able to bear in the modern world, which of our citizens have earned the right to carry them, and what we do to prevent the criminals from having them.
