Everyone talks about offering a "world class" education and clearly with the additional 38 billion being pumped into Maryland schools over the next 10 years that is what we should expect, but the "Blueprint" comes with too much central control. It is a one-size fits all state run program which needs greater flexibility at the county level. Learn more
Nothing about the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project makes sense. Essentially, this project is just a 67-mile extension cord stretching from Pennsylvania to Virginia which brings no benefit to Maryland communities, but imposes significant local costs. We cannot afford to let transmission lines crisscross our state at the whim of corporate interests. This project must be stopped. As stated before, what we truly need is a comprehensive and realistic energy policy that prioritizes Marylanders, not out-of-state power companies. Learn more
