I do not believe that simply being undocumented makes a person a threat or justifies punishment. People who are living and working here should have a pathway to lawful status when possible. Immigration enforcement must be reformed to ensure safety, accountability, and humane treatment. The state has a responsibility to enforce regulations for data centers that protect people, animals, and the environment from harm - including but not limited to noise/vibration, air pollution, light pollution, and infrastructure strain.
