Get StartedWhen it comes to reproductive rights, the government needs to step back. This is a private decision that belongs to women and their families, not to the state. I trust Georgia women to know what is right for their own lives. I will fight against government overreach and bans, because politicians in Atlanta have no business in your exam room. Learn more
As your representative, you can count on me to continue the fight for fair and equal protection under the law, and to stand strong against discrimination of every form and in any place. Learn more
Like many of you, I have seen the devastating impact of opioids on my friends and family. That’s why in 2017, I sponsored the Opiate Abuse Prevention Act to increase regulation of these dangerous drugs and why I’ll work to improve access to medical and psychiatric help for those impacted. Learn more
And I’ll continue my efforts to expand access to tuition-free technical college, so that hard work can once again be the pathway to success. Learn more
I’ll also continue to fight to raise salaries for our public school teachers and to give them more flexibility and freedom in testing, so that our state will become the best place to recruit, train and retain the most talented educators. Learn more
I want to use HOPE funds to expand Pre-K and childcare options, especially for our frontline workers, because early learning is essential economic infrastructure, not a luxury. Learn more
Our state government has a duty to make sure industries like Sterigenics do not dump harmful chemicals into the environment, and to inform the public immediately if they do. I’ll fight to increase accountability and to boost investment in clean-energy jobs and methods of transportation, which will not only help protect our environment, but also invigorate our economy. Learn more
We have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for our planet. Doing that means supporting policies at the regional, state and national level that not only help keep our air and water clean, but also address the emergency created by climate change. Learn more
I strongly believe that military grade assault weapons have no place on our streets and certainly not in our schools. I will work to enact and enforce safeguards ensuring that every gun owner is properly trained, subject to background checks and has no history of violence. Learn more
I am a staunch proponent of expanding access to quality, affordable healthcare for all Georgians. In the legislature, I’ll fight to fully expand Medicaid so the hundreds of thousands of Georgians left behind by healthcare cutbacks will be able to see their doctor regardless of their income or pre-existing conditions. Learn more
We have to stop pricing Georgians out of their own state. From cracking down on grocery price-gouging to incentivizing affordable housing, I am committed to an economy where, if you work in Georgia, you can afford to live in Georgia. Learn more
In the state legislature, I will put my experience to work to combat the shortage of affordable housing and fight against policies that lead residential taxes to sky rocket, while business property taxes hold flat. Learn more
Endless toll roads and express lanes will not solve our transportation issues. As your State Representative, I will fight for the funding needed to expand mass transit systems, including commuter rail, and I will support investment in repairing our infrastructure, including updating our roads and bridges. Learn more
Whether it’s attacks on our healthcare or attempts to override our local laws, I will stand as a firewall against the Trump Administration’s overreach. We will not let federal chaos dictate our future or strip away the rights we have fought to protect here at home. We decide what’s best for Georgia, not DC. Learn more
In the state legislature, I will fight to increase the minimum wage, so that no hard working Georgians will live in poverty. Learn more
It’s also time we pass a Georgia Earned Income Tax Credit to put more money back in the hands of working people, while also ensuring equal pay and access to affordable childcare. Learn more
