For too long our local economy has been focused on logistics- simply moving goods from one place to another. While these jobs are important, a "pass-through" economy doesn't build long-term wealth for our families. I will advocate for federal funding to go directly to our local trade schools and community colleges. We will focus on "earn-while-you-learn" apprenticeships so our workers are ready for advanced manufacturing jobs in fields like aerospace, machinery, and technology. Learn more
