I support the continuation of the department of education. The department is an essential part of protecting students. Student loans allowed access to college for those who otherwise wouldn’t have been able to. Tuition costs, though, have skyrocketed because universities knew the government would pay up. Congress needs to use their position and authority to lean on colleges to lower their cost of attendance if they wish to continue receiving federal dollars. Learn more

We need to create a new Visa that allows undocumented immigrates with out violent, drug, domestic, or crimes against children charges to receive a temporary probationary Visa for 5 year. After 5 Years if they have contributed to the country through work or school while maintaining a clean record the Visa can become permanent. Learn more
We need to revamp our immigration process, including streamlined work visas, so good people can enter legally and build the strength of our country and not wait years. This includes a better system for tracking and managing Visa's and their overstays- The majority of undocumented immigrants came on legal Visas that have expired. Learn more
