Get StartedThe addiction crisis continues to touch all of us. I support continued investment in the opioid recovery ecosystem — treatment, housing, and workforce reintegration. Learn more
Our students are still recovering from the learning loss and mental health impacts caused by COVID-19. As your state representative, I'll ensure our students receive the educational and mental health support they need to succeed. This includes requiring 30 minutes of recess/unstructured play for all K-8 students, and classifying it as academic content. The learning benefits of unstructured play among children are documented and powerful. I'll also champion mandating full day kindergarten across the Commonwealth, so all learners can have a head start. Learn more
Unfortunately, every year promising educators leave the profession because we don't set them up to succeed. As a state representative, I'll support a minimum salary for teachers and education support professionals (ESPs). I'll also support expanding the collective bargaining rights of all public school teachers and ESPs. Learn more

We can stop the destruction of Kingsbury Pond in Norfolk. I've walked the shrinking shoreline of the pond and met with concerned residents. I've seen how this natural wonder is disappearing as the City of Franklin pumps massive amounts of water from it. The state must take immediate action. I'll use my voice to tell the story of Kingsbury and pull together stakeholders, so that residents can finally rest. Learn more
Across our district, residents using town and well water have expressed concerns about their water quality. Ninth Norfolk residents deserve clean drinking water, free of PFAS and chemicals. I'll work to bring state dollars home to continue improving our filtration and water treatment. Learn more
I support the public records ballot initiative, which would subject the Governor's Office, Legislature, and Judiciary to public records laws. Learn more
I'm fighting to ensure complete transparency in healthcare pricing at the doctor's office and in the hospital. We should know exactly what we will pay for treatment. On Beacon Hill, I'll work to strengthen the Health Policy Commission's review of deals involving private equity and real estate investment trusts, to prevent disasters like Norwood Hospital's closure. Learn more
I'll work to encourage factory-built, Massachusetts and union-made modular housing as a way to cut new construction costs. I support legislation that ensures tenants have access to counsel during legal proceedings and allows them the first opportunity to purchase their building if the owner is looking to sell. I'm proud to support the smaller lot size ballot initiative, which will increase new home construction. Learn more
As your state representative, I'll support our local public housing authorities. I will defend their guaranteed state funding and work with resident services coordinators to maintain high quality of life for their residents and their neighbors. The Commonwealth often restricts our cities' and towns' ability to manage the housing crisis. I'll vote to give our municipalities additional autonomy like the option to enact local rent control. This allows our communities to means test policy and avoid state mandates. Learn more
I will oppose any attempt to hike MBTA commuter rail fares and work to make the system fare-free. Learn more
As your state representative, I'll oppose any hike in commuter rail fares or utility prices. Learn more
Our roads need work. We've all hit a patchable pothole or encountered a stretch of uneven pavement. I support increasing Chapter 90 infrastructure funding so 9th Norfolk towns can continue investing in roads and bridges. Learn more
The Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority provides a crucial service for towns not covered by MBTA buses. I'll work to expand GATRA's network and ensure it remains fare-free for all riders. Learn more
Major corporations have continued to avoid paying their fair share of taxes. I support enacting corporate fairshare, legislation that would increase the amount of off-shore corporate income subject to state corporate income taxes. Right now, many of our small businesses pay more in taxes than large multinational corporations. This isn't right. Small businesses are the backbone of our local economies and culture. I'll fight to keep wealth in our communities by supporting small business and stopping megacorporations from dodging taxes. Learn more
Our town budgets are hurting. Sweeping cuts from the federal government have only worsened rising health insurance costs and inflation. In the State House, I'll work to reform the Chapter 70 education funding formula to ensure our communities get the school funding they deserve. Unreformed Ch. 70 is forcing municipalities to continuously consider Proposition 2 1/2 override votes. These overrides are regressive taxes on the poorest people in our communities, seniors and working families. Learn more
The wealthy and powerful shouldn't be able to skirt state laws. I'll work to establish a state wealth tax, which would only apply to taxpayers with net worth over 100 million, taxing them on a percentage of their wealth above the set amount. Massachusetts provides a sales tax exemption for private jets and their parts, costing the Commonwealth 30 million each year. I'll end this sales tax exemption. The rich and powerful shouldn't have their private jets subsidized by working families. Learn more
Wages have not kept pace with today's cost of living crisis. I support raising MA's minimum wage to 20 an hour and indexing it to inflation. We also must extend paid family and medical leave law to all workers. Learn more
I believe that labor unions are the keystone of our Commonwealth as they ensure safety, fair treatment, and equitable compensation for all workers. I'm proud to support project labor agreements, strengthening prevailing wage laws, ending wage theft, and protecting the right to organize and strike. Once elected I will proactively solicit meetings with labor unions and will assemble a labor legislative advisory board with representatives from locals in and around the 9th Norfolk. Learn more
For years, staffers on Beacon Hill have fought to unionize, but the Legislature has refused to recognize them. I'll stand with state house staff and support legislation allowing them to form a union. Learn more
