We need an All of the Above energy policy. Committed to developing the lowest cost, cleanest, and most abundant energy sources. Solar power and natural gas lead the pack. We need to eliminate the bottlenecks that hold up development of new energy and raise prices. Government Reform

We must require independent, non-partisan redistricting to put an end to relentless gerrymandering that has politicians choosing their voters. We must remove the control of political parties over our election infrastructure and recognize that the First Amendment requires a separation of political parties and government. Provide states the funding to give every citizen a photo-id free of charge for safe, secure, and free participation in voting. And we must require more transparency and disclosure-first campaign finance to remove dark money from our elections. Learn more

In the district I will be a partner and in constant contact with our local leaders making sure Congress and the Federal government is responsive to the needs on the ground. I will actually fight for money and resources for the district, and put service to my constituents first. Learn more

We will give power back to members, back to your Representatives. Take away leadership control of committee assignments. Lower the threshold for discharge petitions so well supported bills can actually make it to a vote. Require regular order, debate, and actual time to read bills rather than dropping them at 2 in the morning for an emergency vote. Learn more

Immigration

We must build an immigration system that gives Americans control over our borders. That welcomes the best and brightest from around the world to strengthen the fabric of our country. That lets those who want to work in America come and work legally and leave legally when their work is done. That offers a pathway to citizenship for those who came here illegally under the failed policies of the past but who live and work and raise families and follow our laws and truly wish to be American.
