The previous fight to raise the wage has moved our state in the right direction, providing a slight increase to the minimum wage every January, in line with inflation. However, it has simply not kept pace with the cost-of-living increases over the past decade. I was a proud lead on the bill that would rasie the wage to 20 get this done, and I am ready to return to the legislature to build a coalition prepared to give families the ability to afford their lives.
