The seven County Board of Supervisors are elected from their Areas to serve four year staggered terms, with elections every even year. They are tasked with administering county government and regulating public conduct within the unincorporated areas of the county. They also adopt and implement an annual budget, supervise the activities of the CEO and all County departments, and set the salaries of County personnel. Each supervisor has the responsibility of selecting citizens to serve on the various County commissions and committees.
