We learned that what happens at the border doesn’t stay at the border. Cities and towns across Arizona were picking up the financial burdens of illegal immigration. Thankfully, the Trump Administration has delivered one of the most secure borders in history. Arizona must continue to keep our border safe. We can take the lead by assisting the federal government with law enforcement partnerships and additional resources to keep our border secure. Learn more
Government can be efficient without being expensive. During my time as Mayor and on the City Council, we lowered property tax rates, maintained the lowest sales tax in the state, and paid down pension liabilities.
