Get StartedOmaha ranks as one of the most expensive cities in the country for childcare with families paying thousands of dollars a month. This is unsustainable. We need more childcare options that working families can afford. I will work to explore solutions other states are using so that no parent is priced out of quality childcare for their kids. Every child deserves a strong education and to be set up for success in life. I want to work with teachers and parents to ensure the state government is doing our part in helping all schools exceed expectations. I will work to keep public dollars going to public schools, not private entities that have no oversight. Learn more
Dependable clean air and water is a life essential. We need to promote good practices and common sense solutions that help protect our finite resources that we can not live without. I will support modernized and innovative ideas, big and small, at the state level that aim to protect our environment for future generations. Learn more
No one should ever have to choose between getting the medical care they need and putting food on the table and a roof over their head. I will look for ways to help more Nebraskans get access to health insurance they can afford and to end price-gouging on prescription drugs. I also believe Nebraskans have the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions and will stand up against attempts by politicians to make these decisions for you. Learn more

If we want to attract more people, and make life better for the people already here, we should not be cutting these quality of life investments. I will be a champion for our District in Central Omaha, and all Nebraska, to receive its fair share of state funding for these priorities. Learn more
High property tax rates on top of rising valuations are a financial strain for many. The Legislature has recently voted to give tax breaks to the ultra wealthy, while at the same time discussing new taxes on goods and services for the rest of us. When I take on re-balancing our property tax system, it will be to lessen the burden on the middle-class so we can keep more of our hard-earned dollars in order to help us to get ahead. Learn more
